Sapa day hike: Trekking Tram Ton Heavens Gate to Sin Chai village

The one-day hiking tour starts with a car transfer from your hotel to the Tram Ton, Heaven gate where you get off of the car and start your day adventure. You trek along hill side, through bamboo forest of the Hoang Lien national park. The hiking trail offer beautiful sceneray of the wild nature and Sin Chai valley. Meeting up with local Black H’mong people help to understand the local culture, custom and traditions. This day hike is hard at many part along a narrow trail through the forest, especially descending steep mountainside. Itinerary:

08.00 am: You will be met up with Lotussia Travel team at your hotel in Hanoi Travel to Sapa. Leaving Sapa, we enjoy the stunning view of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range and lush farm land of Sapa’s suburb. Stop at the Silver Waterfall, walk up the step to high elevation for the surrounding scenery.We continue by road to the Heaven Gate where we will spend half an hour enjoying magnificent scenery around the Tram Ton pass.We go downhill following a narrow trail sneaking on mountain sides through the thick rain forest of the Hoang Lien Nature Reserve. We walk for nearly 3 hours before reaching the Sin Chai Village of the H’mong. Have some more walk inside the village, stopping by local houses and talking with the hosts.

Sapa trekking tour one day: Hike Ma Cha and Ta Phin villages

This Sapa day hike is provided with one way walking and one way car transfer as you begin the day tour with a short hike to Suuoi Ho valley. Itinerary:

08.00 am: You will be met up with Lotussia Travel team at your hotel in Hanoi transfer to Sapa overnight by Train . Then head northeast of the town.

We will walk for 15 minutes through the newly developed area of the town. Then we follow a narrow dirt trail going downhill through the Suoi Ho Valley. We keep trekking along the stream to Ma Cha Village of the Black H’mong. Spend half an hour visiting local homes of the Black H’mong, then continue walking up and down hills through the Ma Cha Valley. We arrive Lu Khau after two hours. This is another hamlet of the H’mong. Walk inside the hamlet then have lunch.

After lunch, we continue walking for about 2,5 hours around the Ta Phin Valley, spending lot of time on talking with the Red Zao peoples. They live in large village and are very good at handicraft: Silver work for men and embroidery for women.

We will be picked up again by our vehicle and transferred back to Sapa. Arriving in Sapa around late afternoon, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Sapa. End of Lotussia Travel service.

Sapa Hiking Tour: Trek Ta Phin Red Dao Village

The one-day trekking tour takes you to Ta Phin village, inhabited by the Red Dzao people. Begin the day trek with a car transfer from Sapa town to the Mong Sen bridge. Then the day trek starts as you hike from Mong Sen bridge along the hillside, terraced rice fields. You hike by remote villages of the Black H’mong. Around mid afternoon, you arrive Ta Phin village, inhabitated by the Red Dzao people where you are picked up again by your car and transferred back to Sapa town. Itinerary:

Day 1: Overnight train to Sapa (Hanoi – Laocai).


Day 2: Laocai – Sapa. Sapa trek.

08.00 am: You will be met up with Lotussia Travel team and transferred to the Mong Sen Bridge. It is possible for us to make some stops along the way to take picture of spectacular landscapes.
We will trek uphill following a large dirt road  for nearly an hour. We then follow a narrow dirt trail winding its way on steep hill-sides along the western bank of the upstream part of Ngoi Dum River. The walk last for about 2 hours before it ends up in an isolated hamlet of the Black H’mong people. We will visit these isolated hamlets of the Black H’mong, then have our lunch.

After lunch, we continue trekking along the same trail for nearly 1,5 hours up and downhill towards Ta Phin Valley. We arrive at the center of Ta Phin Commune in mid afternoon. Take a walk around this stunning valley, paying visit to some Red Zao families, then get on our vehicle again for a short drive back to Sapa.

Sapa day tour: Trekking Y Linh Ho Lao Chai San Giang Ta Van villages

Travelling this Sapa day hiking tour you have the opportunity to trek through Hoang Lien mountain range and to visit some of the most beautiful valley, the Muong Hoa valley and some other hill tribe villages including Y Linh Ho village, Lao Chai San village, Hang Lao Chai village, Giang Ta Van village, Ta Van village. Itinerary:

08.00 am: You will be met up with Lotussia Travel team at your hotel in Hanoi Transfer to Sapa by train. We walk for 2 hours following a narrow trail downhill from Sapa and then later along the bank of Muong Hoa River. Paying visit to some hamlets of the Black H’mong along the way, where traces of the old way of living “sifting style” can be seen evidently. Crossing the Muong Hoa River by a suspension bridge, we go to the other side and then we trek uphill for an hour to Y Linh Ho Village of the Black H’mong. Paying visit to local homes here for discovery of their unique culture, custom and daily practice.

Then walk along a single dirt trail up hill for 3 hours via Lao Chai San, Hang Lao Chai, and Giang Ta Van. These villages, inhabited by the H’mong scatter on high elevation of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range, amongst harmonious nature setting.

We walk downhill in mid afternoon for half an hour to Ta Van Village of the Zay ethnic peoples. Spend half an hour exploring this village for discovering interesting way of living of the Zay peoples.

Sapa overnight treks: Hiking Mong Sen Ta Phin Ma Tra Suoi Ho villages (2 days)

We continue trekking uphill for about 1 hour to Ma Cha, another village of the H’mong. Then we continue hiking through the Ma Cha Valley. This valley is close to Sapa Town but very quiet. The villagers are still living their own way without influence of tourism.

After lunch, the trail gets larger and gradually uphill through the Suoi Ho Valley. We trek terraced paddies, pine plantation, fruit, vegetable & artichoke gardens.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Hanoi – Sapa

We pick you up at your hotel. Overnight Train to Sapa.


Day2: Sapa – Ban Lech – Muong Bo – Sin Chai B

08.00 am: You will be met up with Lotussia Travel team at your hotel in Sapa and transferred southwards to Ban Lech Dao in Thanh Kim Commune.We trekking for about 2 hours through terraced rice paddies from Ban Lech village to to Muong Bo Village of the Tay. The trek will be along a narrow trail sneaking mostly downhill.Cross the river by a bridge, then trek uphill for another hour. Easy walk 1/2 hour to explore the village of the Tay featured with spacious stilt houses.

Lunch break for an hour in a local home.

In the afternoon, we trek for about 1.5 hour to Nam Cum Village of the Red Zao. This village is situated a remote valley. We walk around the village and get acquaintance with local villagers.

Continue trekking along the Suoi Thau Valley for 1 more hour to Sin Chai B Village. Check in a local house for dinner and overnight.

Day3: Sin Chai B – Nam Lang A – Nam Lang B – Ta Thang – Lao Cai

Leaving the Sin Chai B village at about 08.30, we trek along a narrow dirt trail for ½ hour to the bottom of the valley. Then we gradually go uphill for nearly 2 hours to Nam Lang A and Nam Lang B, the 2 village of the Red Zao.We will have the opportunit to make several stop on the way for visiting local house and talking with local villagers.Lunch break at Nam Lang B village.

We continue our trek following a large and rocky road for ½ hour to the top of the mountain range. Then we trek downhill to Nam Ket Village of the Red Zao and the Tay.

Continue hiking along the same trail downhill for nearly 2 hours to Ta Thang Village. The village offers wide view over the Red River Valley which runs through the Bao Yen District.

We will be picked up again by our vehicle at Ta Thang village then transferred to Lao Cai. Have a short rest before taking the overnight train back to Hanoi.

We begin our trip by walkliing to the Heaven Gate. Enjoy magnificent view over the other side of Hoang Lien Son range.

We trek mostly downhill following a narrow trail sneaking on mountain sides. We hike through the thick rain forest of the Hoang Lien Nature Reserve. After 3 hours trek, we reach the upstream part of the Muong Hoa River.

In the afternoon, we hike to Sin Chai village of the H’mong.

We may have time for a short walk before checking into a local house for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Sin Chai – Cat Cat – Y Linh Ho

After breakfast at home stay, we will leave Sin Chai village at about 09.00 am. We walk for 1 hour along good path to Cat Cat waterfall. Have a short rest at this nature wonders and continue hiking up and downhill along the Vang stream. We trek for over 4 hours through part of Hoang Lien National Park covered by thick bamboo and rain forest.

We will pass by several isolated hamlets of the Black H’mong before we arrive at Y Linh Ho village in mid afternoon.

Check into a local house for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai San – Lao Hang Chai – Giang Ta Van -  Sapa

Breakfast and leave Y Linh Ho village at about 08.30 am. We follow a large dirt path hiking uphill to Lao Chai San 2 and Lao Chai San 1 villages of the H’mong. Then we continue trekking up and downhill along for about 2 hours before we arrive at Lao Hang Chai of the H’mong. Have a short visit of this village and then we trek for 2 more hours through the thick rain forest.

Lunch will be provided en route.

After lunch, we continue our hike descending to Giang Ta Van village and then onto Ta Van village of the Giay. Both villages are located near the beaufiful Muong Hoa River. Have a visit of this large and prosperous village before we are picked up again by our vehicle and transferred back to Sapa. Trip ends.

Day 3: Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai San – Lao Hang Chai – Giang Ta Van– Ta Van

After breakfast, we will leave Y Linh Ho village at about 08.30 am. We follow a large dirt path going uphill to Lao Chai San 2 and Lao Chai San 1 villages of the H’mong.

We then hike up and downhill along a narrow dirt trail to Lao Hang Chai of the H’mong. We will have a short visit of this village before we continue trekking for 2 more hours through the thick rain forest.

We will have lunch before descending to Giang Ta Van village and then onto Ta Van village of the Giay. Both villages are located near the beautiful Muong Hoa River.

Check into a local house for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Ta Van – Giang Tu Chai – Hoa Su Pan – Hanoi

After breakfast, we will leave the village at about 9:00. The trail goes uphill and then sneaks its way on the high hill-side amidst terraced rice paddies. We trek for 1,5 hour before we arrive in the bamboo forest.

We have a short visit of the Giang Ta Chai village, a hamlet of the H’mong. The we descend for nearly another hour to the Waterfall.

Lunch and relax.

After lunch, we continue trekking on a large dirt path to Giang Tu Chai village of the Red Zao. We spend an hour visiting the village. We talk with local villagers for understanding of their unique way of living.

Leaving Giang Tu Chai village, we follow a narrow trail going down and uphill to Hoa Su Pan village. You will have the opportunity to see different process of making the fiber from hemp such as spinning, weaving or embroidering…

Check into a local house for dinner and overnight.

Sapa trekking tours: Travel Nam Toong Nam Sang Ban Sai Nam Than Nam Nhiu Sin Chai Nam Lang Ta Thang Ben Den Lao Cai (4 days)

Day 2: Sapa – Nam Toong – Nam Sang – Ban Sai
9:00: You will be met up with Lotussia Travel team at your hotel in Sapa and transferred to Thanh Phu Bridge. It will be possible for us to make some stops along the way for stunning scenery of Hoang Lien mountain range and Muong Hoa Valley. Upon our arrival in Thanh Phu, we begin our trek by going uphill along a large path. We hike for about 1,5 hour before we arrive Nam Toong Village of the Red Zao. We walk around this village and visit some local houses for better understanding their life.

We continue trekking uphill for 3 hours along a narrow trail to Nam Keeng and Nam Sang villages where the Xa Pho peoples live. We walk around this village and visit some local houses to learn about the interesting way of living of this small sub group of the Phu La tribal ethnic.

We continue our hiking trip for about half hour before we arrive the Ban Sai Village in mid afternoon.

Day 3: Ban Sai – Nam Than – Nam Nhiu – Sin Chai B
After breakfast,w e will leave Ban Sai at about 09.00 am. We will trek along a large & good path uphill to Nam Nhiu Village of the Red Zao. After having a short visit of this village, we continue hiking along a dirt path for 1,5 hour to Nam Than Village of the Red Zao and Black H’mong. This portion of the trek offers stunning view of Nam Sai and Nam Cang Valleys.

Leaving Nam Than village, we continue trekking for an hour through wild land dotting with terraced fields, bamboo forest…

Lunch will be provided en route.

After lunch, we continue trekking for 2, 5 hours along the same trail passing through the land of Suoi Thau Commune to Sin Chai B Village of the Red Zao.

Check into a local house for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Sin Chai B – Nam Lang A – Nam Lang B – Ta Thang – Lao Cai
After breakfast, we trek along a narrow dirt trail for ½ hour to the bottom of the valley. Then we gradually hike uphill for nearly 2 hours to Nam Lang A and then Nam Lang B, the 2 village of the Red Zao. We will stop by and visit somes local houses to understand the local life of the ethnic groups living in these remote areas.

Lunch break at Nam Lang B village.

After lunch, we continue our trek following a large and rocky road for ½ hour going to the top of the mountain range. Then the trek gradually gets downhill to Nam Ket village of the Red Zao and the Tay.

We continue hiking along the same trail downhill for nearly 2 hours to Ta Thang village. This village offers wide view of the Red River Valley which runs through the Bao Yen District.

We will be picked up by our vehicle at Ta Thang village and transferred to Hanoi. Trip ends.
Muong Hoa valley trek: Hiking Cat Cat Y Linh Ho Lao Chai San Lao Hang Chai Giang Ta Van villages (3 days)

Day 3: Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai San – Lao Hang Chai – Giang Ta Van – Sapa

After breakfast we leave the Y Linh Ho village at about 08.30 am. We follow a large dirt path going uphill to Lao Chai San 2 and Lao Chai San 1 villages of the H’mong. Then we go up and downhill along a narrow dirt trail for about 2 hours. We will hike through Lao Hang Chai and Giang Ta Van Village of the H’mong. We explore this village and then we trek downhill for about 30 minutes to Ta Van Village of the Zay ethnic.

Lunch break in a local house.

We trek for 2 hours through terraced rice fields, bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai hamlet of the H’mong. There are 5 house-holds in the village. These house are beautifully set amongst the bamboo forrest.

We continue trekking to a waterfall near the rattan bridge and then onto Giang Tu Chai Village of the Red Zao. We walk around the village for half an hour.

We trek downhill to Muong Hoa River and hike up on the other side for about 20 minutes to the motorway. We will be picked up by our vehicle and transferred back to Sapa. End.

8.30: You will be met up with Lotussia Travel team at your hotel in Sapa. We head southwards along the paved road for 3 km and then we turn right to a dirt path going gradually downhill to the Muong Hoa River.
Enjoy magnificent view of the Hoang Lien mountain range and Sapa Valley. We cross the river by a suspension bridge, then we continue hiking uphill along narrow village path for nearly 2 hours through Y Linh Ho and onto Lao Hang Chai Village of the Black H’mong. We have the opportunity to explore several small & isolated tribal hamlets along the way.

Lunch will be provided en route.

After lunch, the trail gets narrower & tougher while we trek through thick rain forest of the Hoang Lien nature reserve. We arrive in Seo Mi Ty Village in late afternoon. Have a short walk around the village before checking into a local houser for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Seo Mi Ty – Den Thang – Ta Trung Ho

After breakfast, we will leave Seo Mi Ty village. We will walk for about 20 minutes on an easy trail. Then the trekking becomes a bit more challenging we we hike up and downhill and through thick rain forest. After two-hour trekking, we arrive Den Thang village is located in a remote valley. Have a short visit of this village then have lunch in a local house.

After lunch, we leave this isolated hamlet. We continue trekking along a narrow stream through the wildest land of Sapa. We trek for about 4 hours before we arrive Ta Trung Ho Village of the Red Zao.

Check into a local house for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Ta Trung Ho - Nam Ngan – Nam Sang – Ban Sai

After breakfast in the homestay we will Ta Trung Ho village at 08.30 am. We begin the day with a challenging trek along a narrow dirt trail sneaking on steep hill sides. We hike through narrow & sharp canyon from the height of 950 m up to nearly 1,500m for the whole morning.

Lunch will be provided at the top of the mountain in the forest.

After lunch, we continue our hike following the same trail for 1,5 hour. We trek through the forest to Nam Ngan Village of the Red Zao. We have a short walk to explore this quiet and charming village. Then We continue our trek following a larger dirt path. We rek for 1 hour downhill until we arrive in Nam Sang Village of the Xa Pho peoples. The Xa Pho is a sub group of the Phu La ethnic whose population is just about 4,000 in Vietnam and still live a primary way.

We continue walking through Nam Sai Valley. After about 1 or 2 hours trek, we arrive Nam Sai village. We may have time for a short walk before checking into a local house for dinner & overnight.

Day 5: Ban Sai – My Son - Nam Toong – Thanh Phu Bridge – Sapa
We leave Ban Sai village at 09.00 am. We walk along the large rocky path for an hour to My Son, a newly formed village of the Xa Pho peoples aftera terrible landslide in 2000.

Then we continue trekking on a long narrow dirt trail to the other side of the valley. After one hour trek, we arrive the Nam Keeng villages. You can still see traces of the many landslides along the way which can help to know more about the very hard life of the local peoples.

We arrive the Nam Toong village of the Red Zao at noon. Lunch break and then we have a short walk around the village to get in touch with local villagers.

We continue trekking for two more hours to Thanh Phu Bridge where will be picked up by our vehicle and transferred back to Sapa. Trip ends.

Day 3: Ta Trung Ho - Nam Ngan – Nam Sang – Ban Sai (B,L,D)

Breakfast at home stay and leave Ta Trung Ho at 08.30 am.

We begin the day with a challenging trek along a narrow dirt trail that sneaks on steep hill sides. We spend the morning hiking through narrow & sharp canyon from the height of 950 m up to nearly 1,500m.

After having a short visit of this village, we continue hiking along a dirt path for 1,5 hour to Nam Than Village of the Red Zao and Black H’mong. This portion of the trek offers stunning view of Nam Sai and Nam Cang Valleys.

Leaving Nam Than village, we continue trekking for an hour through wild land dotting with terraced fields, bamboo forest…

Lunch will be provided en route.

After lunch, we continue trekking for 2, 5 hours along the same trail passing through the land of Suoi Thau Commune to Sin Chai B Village of the Red Zao.

Check into a local house for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Sin Chai B – Nam Lang A – Nam Lang B – Ta Thang – Lao Cai (B,L)

After breakfast, we trek along a narrow dirt trail for ½ hour to the bottom of the valley. Then we gradually hike uphill for nearly 2 hours to Nam Lang A and then Nam Lang B, the 2 village of the Red Zao. We will stop by and visit somes local houses to understand the local life of the ethnic groups living in these remote areas.

Lunch break at Nam Lang B village.

After lunch, we continue our trek following a large and rocky road for ½ hour going to the top of the mountain range. Then the trek gradually gets downhill to Nam Ket village of the Red Zao and the Tay.

We continue hiking along the same trail downhill for nearly 2 hours to Ta Thang village. This villaage offers wide view of the Red River Valley which runs through the Bao Yen District.

We will be picked up by our vehicle at Ta Thang village and transferred to Lao Cai. Trip ends.

Drive further to Heaven Gate, the highest peak of roads in Vietnam. From there you can see the Mt. Fansipan, the highest peak of Indochina mountains.Start descending nearby the waterfall. The trail takes you all the way downhill through bamboo forest, which belongs to Hoang Lien National Park.

After lunch, you continue the trek to Sin Chai village of Black Hmong minority, where Community Based Tourism in Sapa takes place. You will have opportunity to explore daily life of one of the largest group ethnic minorities in Sapa area. Here you spend the night in a local house.

Day 3: Sin Chai – Cat Cat – Y Linh Ho

After breakfast, start heading up the mountain. Once you get to the top, you will trek on a small trail and then gradually descend to Cat Cat village, where you will have lunch nearby a waterfall.

In the afternoon, you take another trail sneaking through the mountains. You also enjoy spectacular scenery while walking along a narrow river.

Upon our arrival in Y Linh Ho village of Black Hmong minority, we will check-into a local house.

Day 4: Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Tavan

Today’s trek will continue along Hoang Lien mountain range. The tour offers you many opportunities to enjoy view over huge rice paddy terraces in Muong Hoa valley, the largest one in the area.

After lunch at a nice spot, you descend into the bottom of the valley. You will pass through Lao Chai village of Black Hmong minority and then Tavan village of Giay minority by following a very popular trekking route.

You spend the night in a traditional house of Giay minority. It will be possible for you to have some more walk around before the dinner.

Day 5: Tavan – Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan

Today’s trek is short, but still the landscape is beautiful. Once you get energy for your last day trek after having breakfast, you leave for Giang Ta Chai village.  You will enjoy the walk in bamboo forests. After passing trough the bamboo forest we will find a nice place to enjoy lunch.

Day 3: Sin Chai – Cat Cat – Y Linh Ho

After breakfast at home stay, we will leave Sin Chai village at about 09.00 am. We walk for 1 hour along good path to Cat Cat waterfall. Have a short rest at this nature wonders and continue hiking up and downhill along the Vang stream. We trek for over 4 hours through part of Hoang Lien National Park covered by thick bamboo and rain forest.

We will pass by several isolated hamlets of the Black H’mong before we arrive at Y Linh Ho village in mid afternoon.

Day 4: Y Linh Ho – Lao Hang Chai – Seo Mi Ty

After breakfast, we will leave the Y Linh Ho village at about 09.00. We trek on a large path for an hour to Lao Hang Chai Village of the H’mong. We hike through several hamlets along the way. Enjoy spectacular scenery of the Muong Hoa Valley.The trail becomes narrow and tough as we hike uphill through bamboo forest and then thick rain the Hoang Lien National Park. We trek for nearly 5 hours in the rich nature of the park. This trekking route offers stunning panorama of the long and large valley below.
We arrive in Seo Mi Ty village in late afternoon. This village is located in a charming valley at the height 1567 m above sea level.

Day 5: Seo Mi Ty – Den Thang – Ta Trung Ho

After breakfast, we will leave Seo Mi Ty village and begin the hike with an easy walk. After about 20 minutes walk, the gets tougher. We trek downhill through thick rain forest to Den Thang village, isolately located  in a remote valley. We visit this village then have lunch.

After lunch, we leave Seo Mi Ty village. We trek on a small trail that continuously goes up and downhill through the wildest land of Sapa. After about 4 hours trek, we will arrive the Ta Trung Ho Village of the Red Zao.

We may have time to visit the village before checking into a local village houser for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Ta Trung Ho - Nam Toong – Thanh Phu Bridge – Sapa

After breakfast, we will leave the Ta Trung Ho village following a narrow dirt trail which winds its way on steep mountain sides.

We hike through narrow sharp passages amidst mountains and forest for the whole morning to Nam Toong where we will have a short visit before lunch.
In the afternoon, our trek becomes easier as the path gets larger. We hike downhill through a large valley to Thanh Phu Commune. Visit some local houses of the Tay ethnic who live in stilt houses and very good at organizing their life.

After having breakfast, you start heading up the mountain. Once you get to the top, you will trek on
a small trail with spectacular view and then gradually descend to Cat Cat village, where you will have
lunch nearby a waterfall.

In the after noon, you take a trail sneaking through mountain. You also will enjoy  spectacular  scenery while walking  along  a  narrow  river  You  eventually  arrive  in  Y  Linh Ho village of Black Hmong minority, where you can take a rest in a nice spot nearby the beautiful river before climbing toward a road, where you return Sapa by car.

Day 4: Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai – Tavan (B,L,D)

Today’s trek will continue along Hoang Lien mountain range, which offers you many opportunities to
enjoy view over huge rice paddy terraces in Muong Hoa valley, the largest one in the area.

After lunch at a nice spot, you descend into the bottom of the valley. You will pass through Lao Chai
village of Black Hmong minority and then Tavan village of Giay minority by following a very popular
trekking route. 

You spend the night in a traditional house of Giay minority. You will be able to take a walk to enjoy the valley view as well as swim in the river nearby.


Day 5: Tavan - Seomity (B,L,D)

After having breakfast, you start today’s trek, which is mostly uphill until lunchtime. Whenever you
stop for a rest, you will be able to enjoy valley view. Before noon, you stop again at a nice spot for
lunch.

The trek will be softer in the afternoon. But the scenery becomes even more beautiful. You pass by
Seomity  village of Black Hmong minority before  you arrive  in  a  campsite, which  locates  nearby  a
river outside the village. While porters put up tents and cook dinner, you can take a walk to stretch
the legs.

Day 6: Seomity – Den Thang - Ta Trung Ho (B,L,D)

The  trek  today  takes you  through beautiful  rice paddies and over old suspension bridges. You will
trek on small trail sneaking  through  rainforest. You arrive in Den Thang village of Black Hmong by
noon. Here you stop for lunch either nearby a river or in a local school according to the weather.

After lunch, the trek will becomes tough on tinny footpath going up and down, which requires a lot
of concentration.

You will  reach  to Ta Trung Ho village of Red Dao minority where you spend  the night in local house. Both the valley and the village have just received foreign visitors.

The night will be even more interesting when you are in the wonderful hospitable atmosphere of the Red Dao.

Day 7: Ta Trung Ho - Nam Toong – My Son – Thanh Phu (B,L,D)

You are now at the fringe of the rain forest by the Hoang Lien Son mountain range. Fansipan, the
highest peak in Indochina with its 3143 m, is located in this mountain range. You will start the trek
today by ascending to Nam Toong village of Red Dao minority. Here your lunch will be prepared in a
local school.

After lunchtime, you descend to the valley where locates My Son village of Xa Pho minority, one of
the  smallest  groups  ethnic  in Northern Vietnam. From  there  you  take  a  short walk  to Thanh  Phu
village of Tay minority. Here you  spend  the night  in  traditional house of  the Tay. You  can  take a
walk to explore local daily life while your dinner will be served with Vietnamese dishes.

Day 8: Thanh Phu - Nam Cum – Sin Chai (B,L,D)

Today’s trek will be relatively short and soft. Once leaving Thanh Phu, you follow the trekking route
built in the bottom of the valley, which offers the best view to the surrounding mountains.

You stop at a nice spot for lunch.

After lunchtime, you continue the walk toward Sin Chai village of Red Dao minority where the night will be spent in Red Dao village.

Day 9: Sin Chai - Nam Ket –Ben Den – Lao Cai-Ha Noi by Car

You wake up for an early breakfast and repack your luggage for the long trek heading toward Lao
Cai.  Once  you  leave  Sin  Chai,  the  trip  takes  you  into  a  fabulously mountainous  area,  the  most
remote part of Sapa. En route you meet children’ curious eyes as you are very first tourists passing
by. Red Dao ethnic minority inhabits the entire area.

You will enjoy the fresh of bamboo forest and jungle until you make a stop at Nam Ket for lunch.

After lunch, your trek will be mostly downhill. After about half an hour, you will have a opportunity
to enjoy one of the most beautiful view of days over a green valley lying along the Red River. You
eventually arrive in Ta Thang village of Tay minority. Here you will be transferred by car to Ha Noi. Trip ends.

Sapa trekking tours: Travel Nam Toong Nam Sang Ban Sai Nam Than Nam Nhiu Sin Chai Nam Lang Ta Thang Ben Den Lao Cai (3 days)

The 3-day Sapa trekking tour takes you to such villages as nam tong village, nam toong village, ban sai village, nam than village, nam nhiu village, sin chai village, nam lang village, ta thang village, ben den  Spectacular landscapes of the Hoang Lien mountain range, Nam Sai Valley. Itinerary:

Day 1: Sapa – Nam Toong – Nam Sang – Ban Sai (L,D)

9:00: You will be met up with Lotussia Travel team at your hotel in Sapa and transferred to Thanh Phu Bridge. It will be possible for us to make some stops along the way for stunning scenery of Hoang Lien mountain range and Muong Hoa Valley.

Upon our arrival in Thanh Phu, we begin our trek by going uphill along a large path. We hike for about 1,5 hour before we arrive Nam Toong Village of the Red Zao. We walk around this village and visit some local houses for better understanding their life.

We continue trekking uphill for 3 hours along a narrow trail to Nam Keeng and Nam Sang villages where the Xa Pho peoples live. We walk around this village and visit some local houses to learn about the interesting way of living of this small sub group of the Phu La tribal ethnic.

We continue our hiking trip for about half hour before we arrive the Ban Sai Village in mid afternoon.

Check into a local house for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Ban Sai – Nam Than – Nam Nhiu – Sin Chai B (B,L,D)

After breakfast,w e will leave Ban Sai at about 09.00 am. We will trek along a large & good path uphill to Nam Nhiu Village of the Red Zao. After having a short visit of this village, we continue hiking along a dirt path for 1,5 hour to Nam Than Village of the Red Zao and Black H’mong. This portion of the trek offers stunning view of Nam Sai and Nam Cang Valleys.

Leaving Nam Than village, we continue trekking for an hour through wild land dotting with terraced fields, bamboo forest…

Lunch will be provided en route.

After lunch, we continue trekking for 2, 5 hours along the same trail passing through the land of Suoi Thau Commune to Sin Chai B Village of the Red Zao.

Check into a local house for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Sin Chai B – Nam Lang A – Nam Lang B – Ta Thang – Lao Cai (B,L,)

After breakfast, we trek along a narrow dirt trail for ½ hour to the bottom of the valley. Then we gradually hike uphill for nearly 2 hours to Nam Lang A and then Nam Lang B, the 2 village of the Red Zao. We will stop by and visit somes local houses to understand the local life of the ethnic groups living in these remote areas.

After lunch, we continue our trek following a large and rocky road for ½ hour going to the top of the mountain range. Then the trek gradually gets downhill to Nam Ket village of the Red Zao and the Tay.

We continue hiking along the same trail downhill for nearly 2 hours to Ta Thang village. This village offers wide view of the Red River Valley which runs through the Bao Yen District.

We will be picked up by our vehicle at Ta Thang village and transferred to Lao Cai. Trip ends.

Trek Sapa day tour: Trekking Y Linh Ho Lao Chai San Giang Ta Van villages

Travelling this Sapa day hiking tour you have the opportunity to trek through Hoang Lien mountain range and to visit some of the most beautiful valley, the Muong Hoa valley and some other hill tribe villages including Y Linh Ho village, Lao Chai San village, Hang Lao Chai village, Giang Ta Van village, Ta Van village. Meeting up with local friendly people of the Black H’mong, the Giay help to understand local culture, customs, traditions. Itinerary:

08.00 am: You will be met up with Lotussia Travel team at your hotel in Sapa. We walk for 2 hours following a narrow trail downhill from Sapa and then later along the bank of Muong Hoa River. Paying visit to some hamlets of the Black H’mong along the way, where traces of the old way of living “sifting style” can be seen evidently.

Crossing the Muong Hoa River by a suspension bridge, we go to the other side and then we trek uphill for an hour to Y Linh Ho Village of the Black H’mong. Paying visit to local homes here for discovery of their unique culture, custom and daily practice.

Then walk along a single dirt trail up hill for 3 hours via Lao Chai San, Hang Lao Chai, and Giang Ta Van. These villages, inhabited by the H’mong scatter on high elevation of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range, amongst harmonious nature setting.

We walk downhill in mid afternoon for half an hour to Ta Van Village of the Zay ethnic peoples. Spend half an hour exploring this village for discovering interesting way of living of the Zay peoples.

We will be picked up again by hour vehicle at Ta Van Bridge and transferred back to Sapa. Arriving in Sapa around late afternoon, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Sapa. End of Lotussia Travel service.



Sapa Hiking Tour: Trek Ta Phin Red Dao Village

The one-day trekking tour takes you to Ta Phin village, inhabited by the Red Dzao people. Begin the day trek with a car transfer from Sapa town to the Mong Sen bridge. Then the day trek starts as you hike from Mong Sen bridge along the hillside, terraced rice fields. You hike by remote villages of the Black H’mong. Around mid afternoon, you arrive Ta Phin village, inhabitated by the Red Dzao people where you are picked up again by your car and transferred back to trek Sapa town.  Itinerary:

08.00 am: You will be met up with Lotussia Travel team and transferred to the Mong Sen Bridge. It is possible for us to make some stops along the way to take picture of spectacular landscapes.

We will trek uphill following a large dirt road  for nearly an hour. We then follow a narrow dirt trail winding its way on steep hill-sides along the western bank of the upstream part of Ngoi Dum River. The walk last for about 2 hours before it ends up in an isolated hamlet of the Black H’mong people. We will visit these isolated hamlets of the Black H’mong, then have our lunch.

After lunch, we continue trekking along the same trail for nearly 1,5 hours up and downhill towards Ta Phin Valley. We arrive at the center of Ta Phin Commune in mid afternoon. Take a walk around this stunning valley, paying visit to some Red Zao families, then get on our vehicle again for a short drive back to Sapa.
